has been established in 1994 with aim of promoting organic farming
and ayurvedic medicinal plants. To achieve this target it has
started producing vermi compost on large scale. In filed of
vermicompsting.
Greenfield Bio Care
has done research on four different species of earthworms to
know which one is best suited for solid waste management in
urban areas. Similarly lot of work is done for improving nutrient
value of vermicompost.
Greenfield

has successfully completed various projects related to vermicomopst
and farm development, gardening and beautification of old gardens,
development of Ayurvedic medicinal plants gardens on
the
principles of organic gardening or Vrikshayurveda.
Prof.
Avinash Khaire, of Greenfield Bio Care
has completed Masters in Agricultural Geography and while serving
as lecturer in a Degree College and afterwards presented research
papers on topics like Agricultural Land Use and Vermicomposting.
He has attended training course on Medicinal & Aromatic
Crops organized by the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research,
at Hessargatta, Banglore to acquire more knowledge in the field
of Ayurvedic medicinal plants. He
is also associated with The Journal of Research and Education
in Indian Medicine (JREIM) as a subject editor (Ayurvedic Plants
Nursery: Vrikshayurveda)
Prof Avinash Khaire
is studying Vrikshayurveda for more than 15 years from the point
of view of its use in agriculture and gardening to make it eco
friendly. Here he will share his knowledge of Vriskshayurveda
and vermicomposting with you.
